It depends. Sometimes I'll make hand sketches, sometimes I'll draw up sections of the frame in 3D modelling software, and sometimes I just experiment. I have built frames for others where they have supplied complete drawings themselves.

Hey man nice work on the frames. The welds look real nice on the pics you posted in home made bikes. What sort of tig welder is that. Is it a high frequency pluse to get it like that? looks like the welds on aftermarket moto exhaust systems... good shit, laters
